Hot Cell Phone Motorola W375Phone Features

Weighing in at an ultra-light 3.1-ounces, the super-slim W375 fits comfortably in your hand and flips open effortlessly to reveal a large and vivid full-color 128 x 160 screen and streamlined keypad. Instead of an external LCD, the W375 sports a series of unique, light-up icons that signal new messages, low battery, and other events. The VGA camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control while an internal antenna supplements the phone's sleek design. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad. Use the phone's stereo-compatible 2.5mm headset jack with your favorite stereo earphones or hands-free headset. Lastly, charging and USB data connectivity can be found on the bottom edge of the phone.

The W375's internal phonebook can hold up to 100 contacts and includes picture phonebook options. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. There's even an included application, MotoMixer, that lets you mix your own ringtones, while the built-in, office-quality speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear.

The W375 is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound, and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in VGA camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. I PURCHASED MY FIRST MOTO W375 ON DECEMBER 1, 2007 AND ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER AS WELL. BY THE END OF JANUARY BOTH PHONES HAD STARTED TO FALL APART. THE BLACK RING AROUND THE NAVAGATIONAL DISK STARTED TO CRACK IN SEVERAL PLACES ON BOTH PHONES UNTIL THEY BOTH FELL OFF. THE FULLY RUBBER KEY PAD COMPLETELY CRACKED DOWN THE CENTER OF ONE PHONE. AFTER CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE OF OUR WIRELESS PROVIDER, BOTH PHONES WERE REPLACED WITH THE SAME MODELS. A LITTLE OVER ONE MONTH OF USE WITH THE REPLACEMENTS AND SIMILAR PROBLEMS AROSE ONCE AGAIN. MY DAUGHTER GAVE UP. MY REPLACEMENT NOT ONLY WAS CRACKING BUT WOULD NOT CHARGE. A NOTICE ONE THE SCREEN WOULD READ "UNABLE TO CHARGE". CORPORATE HAS NOW SENT MY THIRD PHONE AND I HAVE HAD IT ABOUT TWO WEEKS. THE NEW PROBLEM WITH THIS PHONE IS THAT IS FREEZES I.E. WHEN SCROLLING THROUGH THE PHONE BOOK YOU CANNOT SCROLL UP OR DOWN OR EVEN GET OUT OF THAT SCREEN. IT IS MUCH LIKE WHEN A COMPUTER FREEZES. YOU HAVE TO POWER OFF. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED WITH A PHONE. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED MOTOROLA PHONES AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THEM TO BE SUPERIOR IN ALL WAYS TO MOST COMPETITORS BUT THIS ONE IS A DUD! IT IS JUST JUNK. MOTOROLA NEEDS TO RETHINK THIS ONE!
