Phone Features

The Motorola Krave ZN4 features two layers of touch--on the interactive clear flip outside and the full touch-screen inside--providing you with one-touch access to your favorite features and services without even opening up the see-through flip cover. With the flip open, you can access the full range of menu options. Live TV can be enjoyed with the flip open or closed in stunning landscape mode on the large, vibrant color display.

The durable flip helps protect the touchscreen underneath, and a prominent side key locks access to the external buttons, preventing accidental use when the phone is in your purse or pocket. You can also make voice dial calls without opening the cover, thanks to the phone's voice-activated dialing feature and dedicated voice recognition key--just speak the name or number you want to call. The phone also features a virtual landscape QWERTY keypad, haptic technology for reassuring sensory feedback when you press a key, conveniently-sized buttons, and direct access to personal email accounts with Verizon's Mobile Email.

The 2.8-inch touchscreen has a 65K color depth and a 240 x 400-pixel resolution, and it modifies its display to 240 x 320 pixels when the flip is closed. The phone has an internal 130 MB memory, which can be expanded via optional MicroSD/MicroSDHC memory cards up to 8 GB in size. The phonebook can store up to 1000 contact entries with fields for up to five numbers and two email addresses per entry. It supports caller groups as well as photo/ringer ID.

Handsfree communication is easy thanks to the integrated speakerphone. This phone also provides Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and file transfer. With the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking--surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server.

The dedicated camera key on Motorola Krave provides quick access to a touch-controlled 2.0 megapixel camera. Product Description

This update to the tried-and-true Motorola V66 features all the rock-solid features of its predecessor, plus a gorgeous color screen. The Motorola V170 also offers polyphonic ringtone capabilities, text messaging, and enhanced text messaging--making the V170 a great complement to Tracfone prepaid wireless service.

The lightweight clamshell Motorola V170 affordably satisfies your voice and text communication needs. Tracfone ServiceTracfone provides nationwide prepaid wireless service using the nation's leading cellular providers to create a national footprint covering 99 percent of the U.S. population. This gives you service everywhere cellular service is available.

You can buy bundles of minutes (which must be used within a set time limit of 90 to 365 days) from the Tracfone web site on your home PC or directly from your phone's web browser. This phone ships with a number of handy Tracfone services, including free voice mail, free caller ID, and free call waiting. And perhaps most importantly, the integrated TracFone Airtime Balance Display shows you how much airtime you've used and how much is left, so you can control your costs.

Phone Features

The phone features a sleek clamshell design with a 98 x 67-pixel color display with 4096 colors. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's control pad. There's also a standard jack to accept universal hands-free headsets. The V170 uses the SIM card to store up to 250 contacts for quick and easy management of phone numbers and other contact information. The phone also comes with built-in polyphonic ringtones (20 of them!), and there's even a built-in composer so you can fashion your own ringtones. A silent vibrate mode is available, too, for times when you want to keep things discreet.

If you need basic messaging capabilities, the V170 has you covered as support is built-in for sending and receiving SMS text messages. iTap text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built-into the unit-- a plus for text messaging users.

Other features include:

• 20 preloaded ringtones
• 3 preloaded games
• Clock with alarm, world clock, calculator, currency converter, stopwatch

Price: $4.16
You Save: $37.83 (90%)

This is a new BLACK OEM original BR50 (SNN5696B) cell phone battery made for your Razr V3, Razr V3c, & Razr V3i cellular phone by Motorola. It's rated at up to 400 minutes talktime or up to 10 days standby time (in digital mode). These ratings are for comparison purposes only & are obtained from the manufacturer of your phone. They are based on the mAh capacity of the battery. You will only obtain these high talk & standby times under ideal conditions & most of us don't use our cell phones under Ideal conditions.

Customer comment;

Good product, as advertised and at a good price. Anyone who buys mobile phone batteries at retail in a B&M storefront, paying over 5x the price from online retailers is throwing away their money, in my opinion. I've been buying "OEM" batteries online for years for my company and have never (touch wood) had any problem. It's just a battery.

Motorola H500 Bluetooth Headset

Motorola's H500 headset is a member of Motorola's 3rd generation of Bluetooth headsets. Like the RAZR styled H3 headset that it shares many components with, the Bluetooth v1.2 compatible H500 is rated for up to 8 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. However, the H500 is both smaller and lighter than the more industrial looking H3, weighing only .6oz (17.6g) and having a body length of only 2.3" (58mm). As such, it can easily fit in a shirt or pants pocket without trouble. Since it is very solidly built and has no easily breakable parts, you won't have to worry about it getting damaged, either.

Recharge your H500 with a miniUSB cable.

Ergonomically, I find the H500 to be the most comfortable and secure fitting of the current lineup of Motorola headsets. The ear-loop is thin enough for use with eyeglasses, yet has a rubber surface that is grippy enough to hold the headset's minimal heft in place for most people. While the ear-loop can be easily removed and flipped for use on either ear, it is not adjustable beyond that. However, when it is flipped, a sensor inside the headset reconfigures the two volume control buttons so that the up volume button is always on the top side, and the down volume button is always on the bottom.

The only other control on the H500 is the multi-function button on the outside face of the H500. The button does not require a lot of pressure to activate, thankfully, and handles power on and off, as well as all of the call control features - excluding volume. Those include answering and ending a call, as well as 3-way call control, hold, and mute functionality. Pairing the headset with a phone is a simple task: just hold the multi-function button for an extra few seconds when turning the H500 on, and the blue LED call indicator will turn on. This means that the headset is ready to be paired, and can be discovered with any phone, PDA, or computer that supports the headset or hands free Bluetooth profiles. As is the case for most headsets on the market, the PIN code for the H500 is "0000".

The previously mentioned blue LED status light can even be turned off if you don't wish to draw any undue attention to yourself. Normally the LED cycles on and off slowly during a call, and will flash briefly once every few seconds otherwise to indicate that it is powered on.

In terms of audio quality, the H500 offers great inbound sound and reasonable outbound performance as well. The only issue with the outbound sound is that it is missing some high frequency response, which makes the otherwise full audio sound a little muffled at times. It is a much more pleasant sound than that which many other handsets offer, but is not necessarily as easy to understand. But with that said, the overall audio performance is still quite good. When using the H500 with various mobile phones and PC Bluetooth adapters the connections remained completely static free.

Like most of the newer Motorola handsets that we've seen released in the past year or so, the Motorola H500 makes use of a miniUSB connection for power. As such, the headset can be recharged with a Motorola miniUSB power adapter as well as with a regular miniUSB cable connected to a desktop or laptop personal computer, which is often much more convenient.

Motorola RAZR2 V9 Phone (AT&T)

After creating a gadget/fashion icon in the original MOTORAZR, Motorola has upped the ante with the new RAZR2 V9 with cutting edge technology and enhanced features that make it even easier to use. Offered via AT&T, the RAZR2 V9 offers super-fast downloads and multimedia streaming via AT&T's 3G HSDPA/UMTS network. It's fully loaded with an arsenal of digital tools, including a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, Bluetooth connectivity for streaming music and photo printing, MicroSD memory card expansion, dual color LCD screens, e-mail access, digital audio player, and full duplex speakerphone. And speaking of cutting edge, the phone's stainless steel internal frame and cast aluminum housing support makes the RAZR2 V9 stronger and more durable than its predecessor.

AT&T Service

The RAZR2 V9 can handle high-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network, which is available in most major metropolitan areas. The AT&T 3G network uses HSDPA/UMTS technology (High Speed Downlink Packet Access/Universal Mobile Telephone System), making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless services with speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. It also gives AT&T the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services. In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to receive service on the AT&T EDGE network, which offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including video and music clips, full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go.

With 3G connectivity, you'll be able to access AT&T's Cellular Video (CV) service and the Internet while on the go. Cellular Video features content from CNN, The Weather Channel, iFilm, Comedy Central and exclusive premium content from HBO and much more. It also features AT&T Mobile Music, which provides access to the Napster subscription music as well as Music ID song-recognition software, music videos and The Buzz music news portal. The handset is MobiTV and XM Radio Mobile-capable, so you can enjoy streaming live TV and digital radio all in one device. (A MEdia Max subscription bundle is recommended for accessing AT&T's Internet, video, and music services.)

With its quad-band connectivity, this phone communicates over GSM/GPRS networks and AT&T offers voice roaming in more than 190 countries and data roaming in more than 130 countries.

Worst Cell Phone Comment (Motorola KRZR) - You should READ!

This comment was a 1 star rating for Motorola KRZR.

#1 . 24 of 30 people found the following review helpful

After reading the numerous positive reviews for this phone, I purchased. Here are the main issues I have found with this phone:
1) The buttons are too small, particularly the main control button. You have to used the side of your fingers to ensure that you do not hit too buttons at the same time. And, believe me, I do not have very large hands.
2) If you have quite a few contacts in your phone, you will be irritated by the delay when you scroll down quickly to select a contact. You will notice that if you are not careful, you will dial the wrong contact due to the delay when scrolling and selecting quickly, so if this is you, be aware.
3) You must open the cover and look inside to see if you have missed a call or have a message. VERY INCONVENIENT!! There is no indication to show this on the top screen, only the inside screen.
4) On occasion, the display on the outside of the phone stops working entirely. What you just need to do is power the phone down and they back up again. Not optimal, and I probably just got a bad phone, but I am just waiting for the situation to get more frequent, so I can then deal with the likely nightmare of having to get a replacement phone from Motorola.

NOTE: I have no personal vendetta against Motorola, but wanted to provide some real feedback rather than all just rosey stuff I bought into before purchasing.

Motorola RAZR2 V9m Phone (Verizon Wireless)

Customer Review: Excellent Buy, Improvements Over the Original RAZR, Read On,

FIRST LOOK AND FEEL:
1. The RAZR2 is a big, luxurious slab of metal and glass that feels and drives like a luxury SUV but still thinner than the original RAZR.
2. The phone has the biggest, most beautiful external screen you've ever seen on a flip phone. The resolution is terrific.
3. They took care of getting rid of the bulk chin in the original RAZR. The RAZR 2 does not have the heavy chin and has a smooth and straight finish with is much more elegant. The unit looks a lot more streamlined in terms of mechanical design.
4. New Haptics technology. Read more in the next section.
5. Browsing is much faster and browser looks great.
6. It uses the new micro USB port which technically is same as the mini USB port but is slimmer than that.
7. Viewing TV on external display is cool. Music player can be launched right on external display. No need to open the flip.
8. Excellent sound qulaity. Great speaker for Voice, Music, TV.

POINTS TO NOTE:
1. Only limited set of applications can be run from the external screen.
2. The RAZR 2 has a new micro USB port. This might require micro USB adapters.
3. Little more heavier than RAZR.
4. I am using a Sprint RAZR2, so some features might not apply to other carriers.
